מעשה בהכנות למסיבה ועשה זאת בעצמך The Story about Party preparations and Handmade Creations

The preparations for the Etsy craft party I'm hosting are on and  in a full mode and obviously, part of having a craft party is handmade party decorations.

In this post here, I want to show you how to make an awesome dessert stand made completely out of recycled and quite surprising materials.
And yes, it's true, you can easily buy a ready made stand at the stores, but not here in PettiBear's lair, here when I want something neat and pretty,I don't buy it,I MAKE it
So let's begin- we are going to make a Birdcage Cupcake/Dessert Stand

Our process will begin at the flea market (that's already fun even without the DIY :)

At the flea market you need to source after an old tired birdcage (to tell you the truth,I've found mine thrown under the house I live at-score ! )

Along with the birdcage,you'll need to find an empty electrical cord bobbin ,decorative paper plates,jigsaw , industrial stapler  , Elmers Glue and some decorations of your choosing

To start with the project you'll need to cut about 1/4 of the birdcage height wise , to dismember the electrical cord bobbin and place it underneath the birdcage to create a cut template for the shelvings ,trace the inner contour of the cage and saw through the line to create the shelves

When the shelves are cut, press the paper plates with  hot iron to flatten , smear Elmers glue on top of the shelves and the plates and glue them together

 
Now it's the time to assemble the cake stand. Place the top shelf in place you'd like it to be and staple it to the birdcage . Do the same with the bottom shelf

The final step to the finish line would be the decor- I decorated my cage with soutache braid in pink, added some handmade paper flowers I've specially made in coordinating colors and shapes to the flowers which are drawn on the plates and gave the final touch with faux pink pearls and crystal garlands

And Ta DA, my old bird cage has been "RECAPTURED" into this stunning dessert stand which will be not only perfect for my +Etsy  craft party event,but also for any fancy party like sweet 16, Bat Mitzvah  or a Wedding

בפוסט הזה אני רוצה להראות לכן איך לעשות לבד סטנד דקורטיבי לקאפקייקס או עוגות שכולו עשוי מחומרים ממוחזרים ומאוד מפתיעים

ונכון, אפשר לקנות מוכן, אבל לא בבית ספרי, אצלי כשרוצים משהו מיוחד, מכינים אותו לבד

אם כן בואו נתחיל אנחנו הולכות להכין סטנד לעוגות מכלוב ציפורים

התהליך מתחיל בשוק הפשפשים, שם תצטרכו לתור אחרי כלוב ציפורים ישן ( גילוי נאות, אני מצאתי את שלי זרוק מתחת
 לבית בו אני מתגוררת). כמו כן ,תצטרכו גליל ריק של כבלי חשמל ,צלחות נייר חד פעמיות דקורטיביות, מסור חשמלי
(ג'יגסו ), שדכן תעשייתי ,דבק נגרים וקישוטים שונים לבחירה

כדי להתחיל יש לחתוך בערך רבע מהכלוב לאורכו , לפרק את הגליל כבלי חשמל ולהניח אותו מתחת לכלוב החתוך על מנת ליצור שבלונה  של מדפי הסטנד ,להעתיק את קוי המתאר הפנימי ולנסר את המדף 

לאחר שהמדפים חתוכים , השטיחו את הצלחתת נייר בעזרת מגהץ , מירחו דבק נגרים על הפלטה החתוכה והצלחת והדביקו את שניהם יחדיו ליצירת מדף דקורטיבי

עכשיו זה הזמן לחבר את המדפים. מרכיבים את המדף העליון במקום הרצוי ומשדכים אותו לרשת של הכלוב. חוזרים על התהליך גם עם המדף התחתון

 לסיום סיומת, קשטו את הכלוב כלבבכם - אני עיטרתי את צידי המדפים בסרט סאוטאג' ורוד ,הדבקתי פרחי נייר שעשיתי במיוחד בצבעים ובצורות מתואמות לציורים של הצלחות , וסיימתי בשרשראות פנינים וקריסטלים

והנה התוצאה הסופית-כלוב ציפורים שהפך לסטנד קינוחים מושלם לכל אירוע בין אם זה מסיבת יצירה, בת מצווה או חתונה
