Simple Fabric Flower DIY

I'm starting with ongoing Friday DIY project and today I have for you a really easy 10 step (actually 8!!! step) tutorial of making a simple fabric flower for your crafts and jewelry needs

You'll need only three things-
Wide ribbon or rectangular fabric scrap approx 5x40 cm long (can be longer or shorter depending on the size of the flower you are looking to make)
Center piece
Needle and thread

1. Take your ribbon/rectangular fabric piece
2. Fold it in half and iron it for a crisp edge (you can skip this step if you're using a ribbon)
3. Fold right corner to touch the opposite side and then do the same to the left corner to get a symmetrical triangle
4. Make a 1 cm fold downward to the right .Now do the same to the left
5. Keep folding till you reach the end of the fabric [each time making the fold 1 cm wider ]
6+7. Hold in the center with your fingers or a pin
8+9. TWIST the folds
10. Sew your center piece
And you are DONE!

****If you make your own flowers using this tutorial, you welcome to send me your photos and I promise to publish them in this post***
